Ok, maybe Valentine's wasn't so bad this year

Eyal sent me a link to Keith Thompson’s “Caricature Map of Europe 1914”. It was simply too beautiful  not to share.

The site has an explanation for each of the countries and their representation, except for Finland, which rather quizzically looks like some kind of disgusted “ökkömönkiäinen”.
