Migge: Chapter 1

A super-fast sketch for some lino-printmaking I’m planning. 

It’ll eventually turn into the first chapter page for my Migge story, which I’m going to make in A4 size instead of the current existing A2, and use more printmaking. 

I made it on the bus so it’s not really that great, but I think I may have captured the atmosphere I want anyway. 

It’s meant to be more of a line drawing than a shaded thing because I’m trying to plan out the layers of color I’ll be using. I want to keep it to a minimum of (white paper,) light shading, dark shading, and black. If I figure out a way to make it effective, I might even drop out one of the middle-shades.
