Beautiful video of a long past London, demonstrating color footage. It's quite amazing really. Everyone wears hats, it seems, and seems amazed by the camera.
For one, I love that Yann Tiersen music, but I can't stop thinking how having moving image in color sort of demistifies the mental image we have of times past. Things just get thrown into a whole different mental category looking like is does in this movie. In a way, at least in the 20s in London life seems the same apart from weirder buses and clothes ^^
Hey, thanks. :-) The music is much more modern than what was originally played, but it really does fit! The colors flicker in a surreal way, and i can't help imagining it as a glimpse see into another world. Thanks for the comment, and come visit again soon ;-)
