Yesterday, a sort of brown, sandy misty wind descended upon Northern Israel. It permeated the air, and it hurt my eyes. You couldn’t feel it when you breathed, other than a slight heaviness, and an odd taste at the back of your throat.

When you looked at the sky, it was clear blue right above your head, but everything closer to the ground swirled with this brown color. It made me feel like I was in a game of Fallout - everything became colored the same muddy brown.

This is taken at the beach. The sun is shining, but it looks more like a moon behind all that sand. They say it blew in from the Sahara desert…
