We went to a botanical garden yesterday.
There were storks, pelicans, snakes, adorable little mice, goats, lemurs, and some absolutely adorable meerkats, and more! Never before did I realize what an absolute dinosaur the ostriches are. Their feet are amazing! I want to go back and draw them when it’s not “sanding”.
The meerkats chattered, preened, dug, and stood guard, looking exactly like their wild counterparts on tv do. So cute.
I also discovered there were mosquitos, as I took these photos. The sand-mist was still blowing in my eyes and it wasn’t nice to spend much time outdoors, but this visit was fun anyway!
